Upright: a starting interpretation

Explore a new creative interest without needing to master it immediately. The keywords discovery, enthusiasm describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Curiosity may be scattered across ideas without a chance to test any of them.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

Which interest could I explore as a beginner rather than an expert?

Bring it into a spread

Try a short lesson or a simple sketch before making a large commitment.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
