Upright: a starting interpretation

Make room for a new feeling, connection or source of emotional renewal. The keywords renewal, openness describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

A feeling may need room to be noticed before it is acted on or shared.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

What am I ready to acknowledge without rushing to explain it?

Bring it into a spread

Name a feeling privately, then decide whether a small expression would help.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
