Upright: a starting interpretation

Identify a practical opportunity and a manageable first step to explore it. The keywords opportunity, a practical beginning describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

A practical opportunity may remain vague until its first requirement is clear.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

What is the first concrete requirement for this opportunity?

Bring it into a spread

Set a small budget, appointment or practice session to test whether the idea is workable.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
