One hand points upward and the other downward; the table holds symbols of the four suits.

Upright: a starting interpretation

Identify the skills and tools you already have, then use one deliberately. The keywords resources, initiative describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Having many tools can become distraction when none is used with a clear purpose.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

Which skill or resource could I put to work today instead of seeking something new?

Bring it into a spread

Choose one tool you already own and use it to complete a small piece of work.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
