Upright: a starting interpretation

Choose focused practice and attention to craft over expecting an instant result. The keywords practice, craftsmanship describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Practice may be rushed toward a result or turned into perfectionism.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

Which small part of this skill deserves focused practice?

Bring it into a spread

Repeat one manageable exercise and note a specific improvement.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
