A resting figure lies beneath three swords, with another sword along the side.

Upright: a starting interpretation

Give yourself a deliberate pause to rest before making another demanding decision. The keywords rest, recovery describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

A pause may be postponed out of guilt, or rest may lack a plan for returning.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

What kind of break would let me return with a clearer mind?

Bring it into a spread

Protect a short rest period before another demanding decision.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
