Upright: a starting interpretation

Reflect on past choices without harshness and decide how to respond now. The keywords review, renewed purpose describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Reflection can turn into harsh judgement when a past choice is treated as your entire identity.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

What did I learn from that choice, and how can I respond differently now?

Bring it into a spread

Write a fair review of one past decision and choose a repair you can make.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
