A figure sits upright in bed with hands over the face beneath nine swords.

Upright: a starting interpretation

Distinguish worry from evidence and choose a grounding action or trusted support. The keywords anxiety, perspective describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Worry may be repeating a possibility until it feels like evidence.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

What can I verify now, and what worry can wait until I have more information?

Bring it into a spread

Write the concern and one grounding action, or contact someone you trust.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
