Look at the image

A figure faces cups filled with different objects in a cloud.

Upright: a starting interpretation

Separate appealing possibilities from wishful thinking before choosing. The keywords possibilities, discernment describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Possibilities may be multiplying faster than you can check them.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

Which option survives a practical check rather than just an appealing image?

Bring it into a spread

Compare what two options actually require before choosing between them.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
