Upright: a starting interpretation
Reflect on fairness in giving and receiving resources, time or support. The keywords giving, receiving describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.
Reversed: a question to explore
An exchange may need clearer terms so that help does not create hidden expectations.
A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.
A question for your journal
Is this giving and receiving fair, and have we discussed what is expected?
Bring it into a spread
Clarify whether an offer is a gift, a loan or a shared responsibility.
Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
