Upright: a starting interpretation

Bring competing priorities into a clear direction before moving ahead. The keywords direction, effort describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Urgency may be pulling competing priorities in different directions.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

What direction am I choosing, and what needs to stop competing with it?

Bring it into a spread

Select one priority and postpone a task that would undermine it.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
