Upright: a starting interpretation

Try another viewpoint before treating delay as failure. The keywords pause, perspective describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Waiting may offer perspective, but it can also postpone a decision indefinitely.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

What new viewpoint could make this pause useful?

Bring it into a spread

Describe the situation from another person's position before setting a next step.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
