Upright: a starting interpretation

Notice an avoided decision and identify the information needed to address it. The keywords indecision, avoidance describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Avoiding a choice may be easier than identifying the information it needs.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

What fact or conversation would make this decision less abstract?

Bring it into a spread

Write the missing information and ask one direct question to obtain it.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
