Upright: a starting interpretation

Recognize progress and consider what completion means before beginning again. The keywords completion, integration describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

A nearly finished chapter may need acknowledgement or a final practical detail.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

What would make this work complete enough to set down?

Bring it into a spread

Finish the last small task, note what you learned and make space before beginning again.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
