Upright: a starting interpretation
Reflect on a habit or chapter you may be ready to leave behind; this is not a literal death prediction. The keywords endings, transition describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.
Reversed: a question to explore
Resistance to an ending may be keeping an unhelpful pattern in place.
A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.
A question for your journal
What has run its course, and what do I need to carry forward?
Bring it into a spread
