Upright: a starting interpretation

Question an assumption that makes you feel trapped and identify one available choice. The keywords restriction, assumptions describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

A limiting belief may be shrinking the choices you can see.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

Which part of this limit is a fact, and which part is an assumption?

Bring it into a spread

Identify one small available choice and test it without promising a complete solution.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
