Upright: a starting interpretation

Use steady kindness and persistence instead of trying to force an outcome. The keywords patience, courage describe a theme to examine in your present situation. Compare that theme with something you have actually noticed; it need not explain every part of your question.

Reversed: a question to explore

Persistence may be turning into self-pressure when a gentler approach is needed.

A reversal can suggest an inward, blocked or overemphasized theme. It does not automatically mean the opposite of the upright card. Decide whether it fits the question and the position you chose.

A question for your journal

Where would calm consistency help more than force?

Bring it into a spread

Practice a difficult skill in short sessions rather than one punishing effort.

Choose your positions before drawing. Use Situation / Obstacle / Next step to keep the meaning connected to your question. Your own observations can differ from these notes.
